Straight laced glaring gaze

Unrelenting frown

In business precision

Decision made

In bold red “Past Due”

Head hung in shame

the office I left,

greeted with concern

from wife and children.

In trembling voice

their fate foretold

To the bank they go

I've been foreclosed
