He was mine to love
he was my faith
he was the barrier
between good and evil,
yet I looked at his death
as though he's not real,
I lifted not a hand
to save him
I loved him,
he died for our sins
my slate has been cleansed
for he is my savour,
why do I feel this shame
I must
for I have sinned,
forgive me now, oh Lord
your son has given himself
with out deceit,
he opened not his mouth to plee
his innocence was for you and me

This piece was a delight to read...My favourite lines were the last two.It was because he said nothing that he was able save us through his innocence. Thanks for entering my contest and good luck my dear.
