With allure of an amulet
his assertions own appeal
in acquaintance of readers
seeking his talisman for taste.
 
His collected sayings command
a certain amount of respect
to this somewhat elder poet
who cannot but envy youth.
 
Oh, fuck it!
 
Buzz those bywords
 while you're free-styling
& communicate with conviction
a counter to life's everyday hate.
Marty rocks this house, poetic

    That is so true

    The alliteration in the first stanza cracks the egg yolk out of me.

    I actually do not fancy egg yolk. I LOVE egg whites though...rock my face off!!!

    I adored this! You began with your smart alliterative style that flowed into the surprising exclamative 'oh, fuck it' which had me in stitches.

    This is nice. I like the imagery, the slight humor, and the appreciation in it. Although, I thought Marty was young? Hehe, I probably just lost my sense of humor under the bed Thanks for your entry.
