Would You Save My Life?

If I was laying pissed drunk on the floor,
and there was nothing else to do nothing more.
Would you turn me on my side, and hold my head,
would you call the cops before I laid there dead?

Or just a little tipsy would you drive me home?
What if we crashed, would you leave me on my own?
Or would you do the right thing just to save my life,
would you think clearly to save yourself from strife?

What if we got high one night and I over dosed,
would you leave or would you hold me close?

What if I couldn't think or couldn't answer,

what if i got so fucked over I got cancer.

What would you do if I was depressed and needed help,

would you listen out for my silent voice, my little welp.

Would you tell me that things are going to be alright,

would you save me from my little inside fight?

Would you be a good friend and do what is right,

would you be there for me to make things go right?

Would you be my friend and hold me head high,

make the right choices to not drink and get high.

Author notes

So I am in a health class this year and my teacher was telling us a story about one of her students who called her when he was in trouble, his friend would have died if he hadn't called her to ask her what to do. He knew what he had to do, but he was scared and she helped him not to be scared and ended up saving a life so this was kinda based off of her story.

Nice story, there are tough questions to ask when you put yourself in hazardous situations. Thank you for entering the contest, good luck.
