Moon and Tree Claws

Dedicated to Moon Gazers under Trees!

Reaching out with wooden claws,
Whilst the wistful moon  draws,
Alluring and seductive are both to see,
On this mesmerizing night so silvery.

Wispy leaves fall from tree branches,
Into the light of the moon and glances,
Tree bark scratched, weathered with time,
What an enchanting scene and so sublime.

Leaves silhouetted in the moonlight glare,
I cannot help but stand and stare,
Gripped by the claws of the silver tree,
I am totally mesmerized you see!

Peep-ho moon around the tree trunk full and bright,
Adds to the almost eerie ambiance this night,
Might a witch fly past the moon and see,
You hiding spying from behind the silvery moonlit tree?!

Contest A Thing Of Beauty Unforgettable by suseann

Design for us that infinitesimal.
A minuscule swath of unforgettable.
Poetically voiced in magnitudes,
Express the depths of the muse.
Quantify through implication,
Cascading expression through deliberations.
Through elocutionary sincere dialect,
Design for us your best work yet.
A vision of natural landscape so divine,
We shan't forget in a lifetime.

This rhyming style is alluring to my own heart! This is a well rhymed and rhythmic flowing piece.
Instills a sense of the mystical conjured in verse. I enjoyed reading. Best of luck in the contest.P.S. I like the way you've added for future recall the added explained details below the body of the piece. Great idea!

I love your imagery in the beginning, it was so inspiring. You felt like you were looking at the silver lit trees. Also you threw in the unexpected crazy side at the end which I loved. Great write!
