Perfection hiding within the imperfect
Heady dreams of logical things
Instilling ancient thoughts within the young
Loving, living, leaving, lasting, life
Openness within enclosure
Sultry motions in celibacy
Offering selflessness by being selfish
Placing, pleasing, pacing, peering, presence
Having everything by giving it away
Intrusive anonymity in public venue
Complete partials making the whole into pieces
Analogy, astronomy, allegory, antiquity, age
Learning that nothing exists without its opposition
Author notes
Just some random thoughts brought into order to explore the philosophy of oppositional existence.

Last line is very true... have you ever read the Tao Te Ching? If not, I suggest you get a translation, for I think you would like it. It explores the concepts of opposites needing eachother to exist, and of non-desire. The main concept, however, is not these but a truth behind all things, beneath the superficial. Anyway, this was a good poem, thought-provoking. A good acrostic. Thanks for entering. Shya
