I say, you all, there tain't nothing better
than a waltz across ole Foghorn's play land,
dealing with that boy, Henery Hawk,
he's about as anxious as a blind cat
swinging its tail in a room full of rockers.
Then there is Miss Prissy,
now she is a hen with only one idea in her head
having feathered brain like an exhausted mine,
one big hole and no gold.
But I spend my days
charming that gal,
just to get on her good side
for a nice warm place in her house,
giving her some nice tasty feed of hope
as long I have a chance at the good life,
only don't want to ended up being expected
to do more than sleeping and eating.
As for her son, Egghead Jr.
that boy is about as sharp as a rock,
why he's about as useful
as a door without any knob and broken hinges.
Speaking of broken,
time to go and pay Barnyard Dawg a deserved visit,
his behind needs a good kick while he's sleeping,
good thing I got a line on the ground
marking how far his leash can reach,
at least he good for giving the fleas a home
when not proving brains tain't his reason to howl.

Foghorn used to drive my rents up the wall with his speaking; I used to run around the house mimicing him
He was always one of my favourites though.
A very well deserved gold if I do say so myself ^^

Keep up the good work!

Awesome!
A fantastic rendention of this cartoon and the language is delightful. Colorful and witty! Thank you for your spirited entry and best of luck in my contest. -
Hello. I do like this, and some of the references are I say I say boy, are really good, hahaha. He was a cool creation, like some sort of cowboy. I think you got the language spot on as well. A very good write, sounds like a running account of his day. I wish you well in the contest, that's not a joke son. My regards.
