Love; An Early Draft Lately Composed.

If we despair a rendezvous in the world,
communition a feeding through
green glass
etched with leaves
easing with spare rope
down through the open roof
the dry skin of gnarled hands touching
overlapped chains of hot hemp
whip signal tongue trill
magna of earthwarm
drilled that is unstill

dropped without
bits of sand warmed to a sheen
gleamed with a reflected infinity
crushed polished with symmetry
traded at fairs bursting with color
yet dining on flesh
to ease the hunger of this sad cafe

where the candle breathes
erotic air
blood soaked tinged with cherry
and black smoke  writhing
like rope in the open air
as if miracles occurred
at the instance of our appearance.

    Love ... IS a miracle ...

and whoever is brought to Beautiful Love, will be touched ... and healed ... Even if the bed must be let down through the open roof ...

And as such your poetry touches many, beloved Lute. And each brings to you a personalized gift of understanding ...

i was trying to sleep but couldn't. i watched hillary's speech. it was really good. not that speeches probably matter much. but it might have provided some closure for her supporters. anyway, i kept thinking about this poem. and i kept thinking about all you have done for me to help me and my poems. all the talking, all the questions i ask, all the questions you pose back at me, sending me down roads and paths I would have never even dreamed of knowing about. you are pretty much an angel. earthly one but an angel none-the-less.

thank you for being you. and oh never stop.

and oh this poem. i think it is a love poem though not marked as one. though it has love in the title. you know it was those darn love poems that got me hooked way back when --- i often hated those poems. i kinda like this one though.

you should probably keep writing and all. work on your flow hey! maybe since you've been so good to me, i could help you with that??

member we had that Workshop thing? it was good. even for a little while. it ain't like it used to be around here anymore is it. but that's okay cause i suppose other things are better ... at least i think so.

hey. night you. i like this one.

This is gorgeous! I love the slight abstract quality of it.. yet it clearly speaks of love and touches with sensuality...

Through every sadness of life the meeting of two souls can sometimes spark an energy together that outlasts the emptiness and provides that spark for miracles to occur, I guess we just have to keep believing love exists even if we fail to see it at first. Me likes this one C
