Falling into this dark hole
Filled with every dark creature
You can feel their dark soul
See every dark feature
From what dark things they whisper
Tell your dark little secrets
As the dark air becomes crisper
And you fill with dark regrets
As the dark starts to fall
And dark takes all the light
The dark creatures start to crawl
Within your dark sight
Your thoughts become dark
And your dark heart starts to pound
The dark journey you embarked
That the dark will surround
As you fall into this dark state
Surrounded with dark beasts
The dark surroundings you negate
As they begin their dark feast

At first I was a skeptic on using the word "Dark" in every line. But you had shown the light...or dark.
You are quite a fine poet. Very well done. Best of wishes in the contest. -
Welcome to the Dark Ages
I enjoyed your poem. It gave me shivers because the creatures that only come out at night are spooky. Your words delivered the dark's true nature/theme.
