Hide in the dark, away from you,
but I know, you can see through.
Those things i did, those words I spoke,
can't be hiden by a cloak.
You always said you didn't care,
but I know the truth, it's so unfair.
I push back further, I feel the wall,
stiff I stand, but I want to bawl.
If I could, I'd take it back,
please don't, please don't! I feel the slap.
I crumble down, I start to cry,
You continue, until I die.

I don't think I captured the actual meaning of the quote, but here it is- Even the darkness can't hide the acts of our dark activites...Unknown

This is truly very good. Penned in a modified rhyming Sapphic Form you capture imagery and depth of emotion. You, my friend have the heart of a poet.
