It seems as though tigers and serpents have always been close.
At least, until the visious Unicorn Gang showed up.
They plunge from the sky and land like Frenchman's flung cows atop unsuspecting victems. Today, a tiger just happened to get in the way.
The girth of the unicorn was too great for the tiger to lift on his own, so he inlisted the help of his friend the snake.
A quick-witted lass was she, who could slither ever so carefully to the front of the unicorn and beneath to aid the tiger.
When pushing and shoving didn't work, she slithered back to the front and took the unicorn in her jaws, swallowing it whole.
Author notes
I tired keeping it under 10 lines, but parts of it just sort of fell off the edge. I'm sorry.

Ah...this was something very amusing to watch play in my head. I have never see a view of a unicorn this way and it made this poem stand out from most others I've read today. Great write.

Hilarious!
I love the monty python reference! The eastern idea of snakes meaning wit endears me. The unicorn as a villian is the best part. Who knew they ran in gangs? Very pleasing to read, thank you.
