Times Of Need

Where grace and sensitivity are sought for heartsease

the flag of fragility flutters in imperfection.

Cruelty views open windows to target

and darts of meanness seem to find their bullseye in spite.

 

 But soft zephyr's of reassurance gladden the heart

like the tender touch of an angel's wings.

 

Times when the world seems dark and friendless

generosity of spirit reaches out

for the heart to inhale an open door

with a bouquet of empathy.

    You write so beautifully. I used the word -heartsease- in a poem a while back, and was shocked so many hadn't ever heard of that word. Great poem my friend, and best of luck to you!

    Something like that always seems to come out of the deepest gloom. Always look for the silver lining. Right now, I think I need that. Good write.
