And not with the ear
Listen to your heart beat
Is the tempo raising yet?
Can you feel the music?
Has it spoken to your soul?

Was that my imagination
For I just heared Him speak
Please listen... God said!

Reading your poem and your author's comment made me think of the saying that those that can't hear the music thought the dancers quite mad. Listen... so few people are really able to listen, really listen with the heart...that deeper listening. A very nice take on the contest theme. Listening is indeed what music is all about.
