Five Depressing Suicides and Deaths.

He had enough of life now
he couldn't take any more
the gun was heavy and loaded
the doors swung wildly on their hinges
the officers grabbed for their holsters
as he opened fire
and as the bullets rained down on him
he drifted off and smiled.

She was so tired now
she couldn't take the poor children's hands
grabbing out to her now
when she herself needed someone to hold onto.
She threw the rope around the shower head
and let herself fly down
and as her body flopped against the wall
her hand went limp and it was the last time she cried out.

The doctor's diagnosis was heartfelt and apologetic
as he explained to the man that he'd be lucky
to live another five days.
Winter was almost over and the ice was thin
his backpack was heavy and he remembered
ice skating with his first love on these waters
he shot out across the ice and at once he was in the middle.
The ice began to crack and within moments he was in
as the cold froze his veins, and as the water filled his lungs
he screamed his last pains to the worlds.

The alley was dark and
a little damp from the afternoon's rain
she'd been down the street a million times before
but never wearing this little before.
She knew what would happen, she knew their game
and that as her head met the asphalt
and their knives met her skin
the last thing she saw was him
flash her their sign.

The alarm hadn't rung that morning
and he was still half asleep
when the light turned red and his foot
didn't reach the brake in time.
He had a boring job, a boring girlfriend, a boring life
and just before his head collided with the windshield
and his body thrown from the car, broken in two
he thought with a sense of glee
"Maybe death just
might be more exciting."
