Porcelain

Missing image
China doll purity,
masking mummified reveries,
her Geisha existence,
played with dirge in soul.

Survival's facade,
cloaking her extraterrestrial esteem,
always feeling alienated from realty.

One more performance
for his bed stage,
hearing the alien sonata of dreams
abducting her tears,
visions of hari kari knife
subdue by biting lips.

Intriguing write of life and death struggle of personalities, and love weaved mysteriously throughout what would seem something similar to the Phantom of the Opera tragedy. A wonderful take on the prompt!

Lovely work, the description brings the reader into the poem, seeking death over the life choosen to survive. Many are drawn to life in limelight to find it is not what was envisioned, to be engulfed by sadness.

"Alien sonata"= brilliance... That would make a spectacular contest-prompt! You have taken this picture and completely twisted it, made it your own. That's what is truly spectacular about your work, my friend. Well done, and good luck to you!
