I love you, Grandma, I love you a lot.
Your love is something that cannot be bought.
You love my mom, you raised my dad.
You're the best grandma I could ever have.
I love you more than words can say.
I love you more each and every day.
To think I almost never met you
Is more than I can take.
I would never have had the lasagna that you make.
You make great food, you spoil me so much.
I'm glad I have you in my life.
You love me so much, you never judge.
You always know how to get the smudge
Out of my shirt I get from your spaghetti.
Did I mention you're my rolemodel?
I go to you for advice,
You always know what's right.
You love God with all our might.
You're the best friend I could ever have.
Author notes
erm, I wrote this after spending an night at my Grandmas and finding out she almost died before I was born. Me and my grandma are really close and I can't imagine life without her. I love her sooooo much.
Erm, I love my grandma

This is nice, and I think your Grandma will love it because you wrote it, and it's obviously from your heart. I would like to see you try another poem sometime without feeling as if you need to rhyme every line. When you rhyme everyline, sometimes it makes me feel like I'm reading a greeting card. That's okay, but I'd like to see you express it from your heart with word pictures also. In your almost last line, you mean to say "your might" I think rather than "our might". I think this is a very nice effort, but I would like to see if you could try to make it just a little deeper! Hope you don't mind my comments...thanks for asking for thoughts! faith
