The Great Spirit gave us a gift.

Missing image

In days when wisdom was sought,
Maheo took Mother and Son,
And gave balance to them both,
Seeing their need for knowledge.

He placed them on Mother Earth,
And gave light to shine their way,
Warmth to share with all who sat,
wishing to learn of the true ways.

Many moons between them passed,
And a path from two corners led them here,
To the body of a place to leave words,
Read by all seeking the truth.

The Great Spirit blessed them both,
And through time has shared much,
It is now up to us to sit and listen,
To what they have to bless us with.

We sit here circled around Mother Earth,
In all corners waiting to learn,
Sharing all there is to know,
Loving each and every Sister and Brother on the way.

Twilight Panther with her beauty,
Her wisdom and the kindest heart known,
Silent Hawk with his courage,
His vision of new found knowledge.

    Beautiful!! Awesome Imagery!!!

I am speechless... this is such a fine example of sharing your loving heart, as your whole being resonates with the soul of what it means to be true to one's self - true to nature. You have been doing your homework on the culture and heritage of the Native American tribal ways. Great work!! Niaish Peace Always, Yellow Moon

    Silent Cougar,

often times when we are struggling, our Father above sends words of encouragement from the most unexpected of places. On a personal note, I say thanks for the message within your offering.

Yes, I do endeavor to have courage, to face daily the unseen, the kernals of spirituality that are taken upon faith. Yet, I am bolstered by Tender Wolf, who shares, instructs and yes even comforts on the darkest of days when wisdom eludes me.

In addition I am given to understand the inspiration within this new found knowledge. For their walks another, who often times forgets, that they are a teacher as well. You have only to listen to the voice upon the wind, for it is there that I always find the quiet voice of the Great Spirit with much clarity.

I am blessed in life and in having others who share with wisdom and beauty such offerings as you have penned here. For within your remarks from a native voice, is a true understanding. In addition a true reverence for the giftings, desires and purposes of others.

    Niaish
