Any more sleep comes when the tears stain my pillow.
All I want is for the pain to go away
The pain held deep inside
That makes me run and hide
I use to confront my fears
And stand so strong
Until I met you
You caused me to live my life carefree
You caused me to trust in you
My heart and soul
Everything that once made me whole
But where are those parts now?
Do you have them?
I fear change, I hate being pushed away
Yet you cause that fear
The fear that you will leave when I get upset and speak my mind
Can't you look deep in my heart and see that I fear you
I can't speak my mind because it scares me to see what you'll do
You mean so much to me
But doing as I'm told and speaking my mind and heart
It will only cause me pain
You don't feel the blows to my heart I take everyday
To make you happy
I would cross the mountain and oceans for you
Yet you push me away and hurt me
How can you love me?
As for now I shall cry my tears and stain my pillow
