Unspoken Tears

Unspoken Tears

There are times we hide
Pain from others
And those who truly care,
But this only destroys
Relationships of love
And overflowing compassion,
Further pushing
The ones of affection
Out of one's life
Beyond their reach,
Until left alone
With no one around
Except the comfort
Of hollow fortitude
And brittle endurance,
Imbedded in unspoken tears
With trails of despair...
But know that one still remains
Despite the ridicule
And vicious contempt,
I shall remain
To Defeat your fears
And bring to light
Your unspoken tears

I think that last stanza really encompasses the entire sitation, hon'. The entire poem is a beautiful dedication to her, but this was a perfect ending! Also, I adore how you personafied "defeat." I think that holds a special significance.

Then again, that might have been a typo. o o; I dunno, but I still love it. ♥

...have you noticed I use the word "adore" a lot? Feeeh'; oh well.

    Another beautifully written poem, Justin.
