you stayed
I thought that was the beginning of something beautiful
what I thought was the end to constant off from the crowd
was nothing more than an illusion in my mind
that this was more
nothing but short lived

and how you do it I don't know
you play the sensitive,
the lover,
but it comes down to one thing
it's all a ploy
you try to deny it buy it's plain as a peasants life
you're a guest
ready to walk out at any moments notice
you make it seem like it was me,
like I told you to leave

when someone cared so much
[or what I thought was you caring]
why would I push them away?
isolation
if you only knew how it felt
it's an unquenchable thirst for others
but what do they seem to care?
they pass you by,
thinking you're stuck up or slit your wrists
judgment just leaves us empty
wishing for an imaginary perfect friend
I prefer to put it all aside and give it a try regardless
