My Protector

The night air caresses me
Holding me tight,
It's just a whisper, barely there
But when I strain my ears, I can hear it say:
"My darling little angel
Why do you look so down?
Did something bad happen today?
Why are you so alone?
My darling little angel,
You can stay here with me forever,
Never would I hurt you
Never would I let you feel pain
My darling little angel,
Please stay here with me tonight."
