Girl talk can begin,
at a young age.
Sharing our secrets,
of all the new rage.
Innocently chatter,
boys and wishes.
Of barbie dolls,
first time kisses.
Whispering softly
into a friend's ear
About a new boy.
so no one can hear.
Over by the big tree,
the one with red hair.
Now don't let him see,
please try not to stare.
He likes me and asked,
a very special thing.
Should I let him or not,
push me on the swing?

I love the innocence of this piece. It makes me think of my daughter. Soon to be 13, she has been one to partake of "girl talk" Best to you in the contest, love your border.
