A buttercup will offer up
her golden sweet and loving bud
to any child whose chin will be
delighted when her own fairy
smears yellow underneath to see
if that child likes her butter; tea
with fairycakes will bring a grin
when butter comes without a tin.

I enjoyed this so much. Your poem is perfectally created for the contest. So after reading your AN, I guess I should wish you not to win?

Hello.
A cute write, you have expressed yourself in a poignant but not overly emotive manner, I like that, for the subject doesn't need the melodramatics, it is strong on its own in its realism. I can remember doing that many times myself, ahhaha. Actually has me thinking of the Hindu God Vishnu, he loved butter; I am full of useless information, ahhaha. I would wish you well in the contest, but reading your Author Notes, I hope you do not win the Gold Trophy, hahahaa.
My regards.
