Wasting Away

Wasting away;
Too pale and to fair
The Fallen Angel of Heaven
With the soft silken hair.

Lost in tourniqets of emotion
Swept up in the tide
She turns her back to the world
Her problems are her own to hide.

Scared, lost and lonely
No where to turn
The simple thought of swallowing
Makes her fragile stomach churn.

'Its not a problem'
She screams to herself when alone
Helplessly she cries out
Too frightened to call friends on the phone.

Not one person cares
What happens to the poor soul
Since she has wasted away to nothing
She rests in peace, accomplishing her goal.

Author notes

This was written off of a sad spark of inspiration that struck me. I owe thank you to three doors down, and a few other attributes.

Don't worry guys, 's not about me.

    Amazing!!

This is so sad and full of raw emotion. I relate to this in so many ways. I absolutely love this poem!
If you don't mind my asking: What Three Doors Down song did you get inspired by?
    xx
