It's a funny little thing.
A mirror that is.
A criminal and reflector of filth.
But like all things,
the perspective can be changed,
and it becomes quite a beautiful gift.
I focus on small things a mirror can show
But not what others can see.
I get up too close to it and look so I know
every imperfection in me.
But I don't stop to think
that what I can't see inside me
the mirror shows me with no fuss.
I don't stop to think
I'm too busy despising me
that the mirror brings out the inner us.
We pay so much attention to what we usually don't notice
that we forget what others pay attention to.
We forget that most other people don't look for imperfections
they see the entirety of you.
So next time you look in the mirror,
Don't look for a model staring back.
Don't lean up to look closer
or squint not to give slack.
Relax and remember
to see what shines through you
you have to smile from within.
If you look to find trouble,
that's what you'll get,
but if you look in with true beauty,
you'll find happiness.

The break shows a change of flow, is it any good like that?

"So next time you look in the mirror,
