I might seem small
I can’t even do much yet
That’s not important though
Long ago God knew me
He saw me and knew I would be here now
I may be little
Not able to speak or fully understand your words
That doesn’t really matter
I can sense God in you
Even as a little one I have a Spirit
My Spirit responds to God’s Spirit
So please be gentle with me
I’m being formed and molded
By every hug I get and every prayer you pray
Yes, I may be small
But even I have a purpose
Please help me to grow now
Then, when I’m bigger, I’ll be able to complete my purpose
To be a child of God
