My Little Bundle Of Joy

Like clothing on a line

fresh and clean

filling up the room

your pleasant scent

fills my nostrils

You sit comfortably

in your new baby rocker

waiting for my hands

to pick you up

I dress you up

beautiful new red dress

warm socks placed

upon your little

toes and feet

Bonnet placed

upon your head

white gloves

keep your fingers warm

You smile and laugh

as I carry you

next to my heart

caressing you

tenderness encircles you

My little bundle of joy!

Wow, you have your senses alert for baby girl! The scent of the baby and her little toes and feet, dressing her all makes this poem complete...Just like you are a daddy..And don't Daddies love their little princesses! Delightful write!
