A Shy Simper

Bristled blades across porcelain
skin; I can smell her auburn hair
like roses in fields of sugarcane.

Pining like liquid fire through
my veins- if only my yearning fingertips
could stroke her gentle spine...

Green oceans surround, yet she spots me;
her simper is sunlight-

my heart the burning star.

    Spectacular

    It is easy to see why you ran away with the gold in this contest. You did an absolutely awesome job.
