We must learn to do
and not weakly try;
for with Christ, all is possible -
Just stop asking “Why?”
Bow before Him on bended knees,
for His Ways are superior to ours.
Spend quality time in prayer
and not simply waste precious hours.
To be brought to enlightenment,
one must learn on his own.
Yet, the secret is simply this –
Go before God and His Throne.

Amen, I wake up with a prayer on my lips and keep with me all day until I turn out the lights for bed thanking Him for another day

WE ARE ALWAYS IN GOD'S PRESENCE AND ARE ABLE TO SPEAK TO HIM AT ANYTIME, HOW SAD WHEN WE DON'T.
BOW BEFORE HIM ON BENDED KNEE
LOVELY MY FRIEND
GOD BLESS...

Very well written, though it is not my beliefs. I waste not time, nor do I neglect there is a higher power, but I believe life is in my making not in the hands of others. A very good piece, and I take nothing from it, it comes from the heart and receives my full respect. Thank you for your fine entry in this contest.

I appreciate your comments...
I appreciate your comments; I don't expect everyone to share my faith and also respect those who don't bash my faith; yet I do enjoy when people can see the quality in my writing (which does have some importance to me).

Forgot to tell you that I loved the writting style and form of the poem also.

Amen brother, going to the throne of God in prayer and knowing hHe will be there for us. Very hard to not ask Him why sometimes but would really help us out with stress if we did.

Very true indeed...
Very true (to want to ask why); we are supposed to remember one small key - to be focused on Him and not the problem. When focused on the problem, we tend to do nothing (but complain, which accomplishes nothing). -

Amen Amen!
