calms our spirit and cleanses our hearts. The one that exists somewhere
between reality and thought, through reflection and belief, for he is
the mighty and the grand. The eagle and the buffalo know him by sight,
the wolf and the turtle know him by name, man knows him by faith.
So who knows the 'Great Mystery' best?
I say none, no not man, ...but the wind and the sky.

What an inspiring poem, Cindy... and I bet the gang will surely benefit from it. Tough as we are, sometimes it takes a gentle word or two to soothe even the hottest of inner fires.

This is an excellent poem i'm sorry i can't leave a detailed comment because everything you write has so much depth to it that sometimes i just can't find the right thing to say.

This is really an awesome write. I was hoping for it to have to do with the contest, but at least its a good read and it makes a third poem.
My favorite part was:
"The eagle and the buffalo know him by sight,
the wolf and the turtle know him by name, man knows him by faith."
I try to write about God sometimes but it never comes out right. This, on the other hand, is profound and beautiful.
