Snow cones in summer melt so fast
No matter how we wish they would last.
To gobble them brings headaches galore,
As if we'd never tried that before.
Small bites, a swallow, then a lick
Hit bottom and finish in one fell sip.
Snow cones in winter are a different thing.
They stay crunchy and cold way into spring.
Tongues stick to the ice, and won't let go
What did you expect, they call it snow
With fresh maple syrup its worth the nip,
now if I could just free it from my lip.
I'm glad someone invented this frozen dessert,
I wish that to eat it didn't burn, sting, and hurt.
Author notes
I thought no one else would choose this option so here goes, just for fun. One year. Option #10 snow cones

Hmm I bet Dr Seus would love this one
; it's got just the right flow.
I've never tried maple sugar on snow, but might do this year.
Thanks for the enjoyable read.

Snow Cones- oh how tasty. Maple Syrup and some snow - that's probably a really unique taste. I prefer cherry or strawberry yum
