Deep, rich tears she cries
Drawn onto her silhouette in perfect fine lines
The taste of love and suicide
Drowning in rust, she tries to hide
He can’t understand why she sits there at night
Falling down with a sad sparkle in her eyes
Because when she’s alone he only feels anger
When she’s home, he only hurts her
And she’s tired of waking up in the middle of the night
To find out it wasn’t just another bad dream
Opening her skin again, dark and sticky
But the bright stained color she does not see

Your poems always rhyme and flow so smoothly, how do you do it ?! Lol
I loved the vivid imagery depicted in this, especially:
*The taste of love and suicide
Drowning in rust, she tries to hide*
Ahhh, this poem is great! So dark but lovely
Best of luck in this contest, also<3

Beautiful imagery here. I'm not sure which color I should guess...red or black? I'm leaning towards black.
Thanks for entering the contest, and good luck!
