I met this girl not long ago,
And she was friendly and nice,
We are good friends, she makes me smile,
And she gives me some good advice.
At first I thought we'd just be friends,
And I gave her my complete trust,
I told her my problems and she told me hers,
There was something we always discussed.
Then not long after, I realised,
That me and her were alike,
We are both vegans, got struck by lightning,
And there's nothing about her I dislike.
Kagome is a great friend,
More like a sister to me,
She is kind and she is caring,
And everything a sister should be.
Me and her are not so different,
And we share the same events,
Heartbreak, fear and many more,
And we pour out our heart's contents.
She's really fun to talk to,
She likes to make people smile,
Kagome is a really good friend,
And I really like her style.
I hope that we can closer,
And become sisters in the mind,
And all those troubles that we have had,
We'll help each other leave behind.
Author notes
This is for my good friend Kagome. She has helped me quite a lot, even if she doesn't think it. I dedicate this poem to her because she really is a wonderful person and she is like a twin sister to me. We share the same events and, I admit, It was rather scary at first but now I think we just have some bad luck and I'm happy that I can talk to Kagome and get rid of all my problems.
