Marble colonnades kept her from the world
that she longed to embrace,
they were intended silent ivory sentinels
who marked the boundaries to her existence,
beyond their pillars lie a cornucopia of questions,
about families never met,
and passions not yet felt.
The porch this pause in reflections is her sanctuary of redemption,
a paradise of fated rendezvous,
when the clouds part and he arrives,
bringing all the promises that will be destined caress by his hands
inspiring tales of intimacy apart of the dreams she's had so many times,
including ecstasy from the midnight moon
draping its beams over her being, tranquility felt so deep inside,
breaths of summer wind inhaled in her mind,
autumn's kisses of rust colors
riveting her essence with such stunning images.
All the moments that existence so far
only within her spirit,
one yet to be born,
waiting on Elysium's eternal porch
for the one who is her spouse ordained by the stars,
granted a single opportunity to meet
before she descends into her mother's womb,
where all her ideas of earth she has held as hope
turned into experiences,
his face she'll try to etch in her mind,
so when they meet on earth it will a reunion.
Yet, as she has seen through her ethereal sight,
nothing in mortal realms comes without risk,
peace she knows on this plain of forever,
sacrificed for sake of passion
because always isn't a paradise
when it is without the one
who is her soul mate.

Very lovely and poignant. I could almost picture the autumn's kissed of rust colors, really nice line.
Excellent as usual, the image is lovely.
Best always,
