Moon Light

Staring at the city

from the roof top

the lights brightens the night

as if it were day

Your looking deeply in my eyes

telling me things i've already knew

I keep listening to your sweet voice

just waiting for our lips to meet

under the moon light

We dance to music

only our ears can hear

and embrace in passionate kisses

Hearing a loud buzz

I awake with a startle

and think

darn it was only a dream

My muse to write this poem was i have always dreamed to dance with my lover on the top of a building over looking a beautiful city the dream keeps playing in my head and it has yet to become reality. It will someday come true i like to believe anyway.
