Mammalian absurdity, formicivorous ! what is that ?
it means an ant filled diet, it sees them and then .. splat!
It coats itself in armour, then gives itself a tail,
on looking at its picture, my words began to fail.
It’s a walking jigsaw puzzle, of natures prize mistakes,
super glued in hastiness, could some of them be fakes ?
But when you look more closely, it’s a living, breathing, being,
the master of its habitat, all knowing and all seeing.
Life in all its mystic forms struggles to survive,
yet my little armadillic friend is continuing to thrive,
so spare a thought for misfits, whatever they may be,
my shy, ant slurping, armoured friend, will outlive you and me..
