I love you.
I don't know why,
When you don't even know I exist.
You see right through me at school.
How could you like me,
So plain and average.
But this is my attempt to tell you,
In the beautiful sand,
Right by the water,
Water cold as ice,
Like me.
But if you could just see me,
You'd like me,
I'm sure.
I'm just misunderstood by almost everyone,
And they see through me too.
I know they do.
They just see me as a nerd,
But I know you wouldn't,
If you took the time to see me,
And ponder my message in the sand,
That gives me pain.
