Even as a little girl,
what visions I did see.
Through the moonlight so magical,
she so danced in the light for me.
Tiny she was with butterfly wings,
she would dart across the skies.
And with the knowledge my grandmother taught me,
I could see them with my eyes.
Nothing is impossible honey you only have to believe,
and through this love everything is possible you see.
So as I grew I never let go of my childish dreams,
so even today my dreams are in flight for me.
There is magic about us just open your hearts,
and let your mind go for the child is still within.
And in the moonlight take note,
it's where life truly begins.
It shall be with you forever,
to lift the very soul.
And never let go of the magic,
we all need it as we grow old.
To pass on to the children,
for they so need our wisdom and love.
to see ourselves as children again,
through our children as they look above.
