The day I said I do my dear,
seeing the vision within your soul.
I saw a fair maiden,
within your eyes you know.
And from that very instant,
is when I knew.
The relection also within my soul,
baby was you.
Now as the years go flying by,
and age comes around.
That vision with in our eyes,
dances to such a lovely sound.

Have you ever really looked within your husbands eyes and saw the person your very own reflection that beauty never change within each others eyes

Very nice. I like the way you handled the prompt. It is a beautiful poem. I smile broadly when I read these heartfelt poems about the love between you and your husband.

UMMM
If only everyone loved each other the way you two do.....
I do believe the eye's are the window to love's travels, and the reflections of the sparkles that flow to each other through love entwines, which is why true love is not blind, it's shared. You have that for each other. God bless.

I do know what you mean we age and change but at the same we don't really see the change in each other,we see the person beneath the skin.

No, I cannot relate. I have a weakness for men who refuse to look me in the eye...

I'm in my divorce funk again, and I am definitely still pissed off at him, but I'm not so cold and callous as to not see the love you each have for the other.
I used to want that too, but I dunno. I think I'm all loved out. Does that make sense?
I'll just go find me a fifth-wheel somewhere and adopt a lot of cats...we can share cans of Fancy Feast while watching dancing with the stars...LOL

Yes, that sounds like fun to me.
Lovely write dear, as usual. Best wishes to you,
jin
