Within our circle of life
There are many phases you see
The first is being born
Then naming you and me
Then we become a toddler
Standing and falling down
Taking our first steps
Sometimes with tears or a frown
After a few short years
We've reached our adult life
Filled with love and marriage
Children and maybe some strife
Now we're in our latter years
About three fourths of the Circle used
We haven't lived the circle full
Or you wouldn't be reading this muse
