The birds consume her lullaby,
she plays to them her sins.
A vindictive queen has sent her there,
for the death of both her twins.
She plays the days ablaze with heat,
the nights are frosty cold.
The music does engulf her soul,
at least the remnant that she holds.
The potent sting has kept her numb,
still she feels no shame.
Slumber only a delusion now,
she has excepted blame.
Her crime it was she did assail,
the children as they played.
Her punishment to play the fields,
forever and a day.

I really really like this piece. And you used BOTH word banks? That's really impressive. Thank you so much for entering, and good luck.
