Now who's the better candidate?
There's one who wants us to be free
Just like every other guy
But this one's got a degree
The other is my next door neighbor
He's about three foot four
I don't believe he passed high school
But someone like that's hard to ignore
Yo, Dad, I think the milks gone bad
Hey Mom, there's Bigfoot on the T.V.
And he's different, just like everyone else
But I'm the most eccentric girl you'll meet
Dark roads to a lonely future
Without a light there is no end
I've tired to stitch my heart together
But some wounds I just can't mend
I need a voice to tell me
That I'm alive, I'm still kicking
But I need someone to prove
That my heart is still ticking
Yo, Dad, I think the milks gone bad
Hey, Mom, there's Bigfoot on the T.V.
And he's different, just like everyone else
But I'm the most eccentric girl you'll meet
You might know the world's not right
The crime rate has gone up
But I think I see the cure
In the water in my paper cup
They're all about trends and fads
Until their masks soon fall away
So dear, will our love also fade?
As most would agree, it's too cliche
Yo, Dad, I think the milks gone bad
Hey, Mom, there's Bigfoot on the T.V.
And he's different, just like everyone else
But I'm the most eccentric girl you'll meet
Yeah, I'm the only girl you'll ever meet
Author notes
xD Since the whole "Bigfoot" thing where those two guys claimed they found Bigfoot's body, I wanted to try and put that in a poem. I finally did! Took me two days to write.
Please tell me what you think
