My favorite color is very bright
It flatters me because of my dark hair
It really stands out in the dark night
I wear a gold pin on my jacket for flair
Fire engines don't have a thing on me
Wearing my favorite color I'd blend in fine
You don't have to have good vision to see
My outfit would make you stop on a dime
This is my favorite color of lollipops
It leaves it's color all around my lips
When finished I do the bunny hop, hop
So it doesn't add inches to my hips
My favorite color has stripes in our Flag
I always see it wherever I go
Wearing this color, I don't like to brag
But it leaves me tinkling and all aglow

Nice use of rhyme and meter! My favorite stanza is the one about the lollipops. :-) I'm guessing your color is red!
Thanks for entering the contest, and good luck!
