lol original, I think both writers and muses deserve a cruise. It's hard to have inspiration when feeling overworked. The images "your ideas so lame that they scream cliche'?
Has the well dried up? Balloon deflated?" seem a bit cliche but it works really well in context. I wonder if it's really possible to just meet another muse at a cruise, but perhaps for the open minded, anything can act as a muse.

Very nice Ottavia Rima (thank you for including the specifications!) Excellent rhyming. Love the title (would explain why they are gone so long!). Angst-ridden "cliche'," "well dried up? Balloon deflated?" follows neatly on the heels of "overworked, unappreciated." Indeed, when they are handy we work them hard, with little thanks! Just complaints if they take a holiday
