The image of rain rippling the surface of a lake or pond, sprinkling over the lilly pads is rather peaceful to me, love the beautiful imagery here.

    I love this!
I love the subtlties of a night of rain with its moment of moonlight allowing a humble creature to leap from the marsh into heaven!
I especially love the last line with its wink to our childhood poetry...when all was possible!

    SO BEAUTIFULLY PUT!!!!!

It is in our darkest times that we look and reach out for those dreams in the stars.

    Bravo!

The visuals a reader gets are superb! I can see the frog in the moonlight reflected on a pond leaping over the moon and flying threw stars. In present tense and as deeply embued in nature. Just as a great Haiku dictates its intent.
