Find strength in the bottle
one hundred percent proof.
Or strength in the Bible,
one hundred percent truth.
We all have a weakness,
and need a way to hold on.
To get through the darkness,
when all our hope is gone.
God will never forsake you,
with Him you never lose.
There is only more sorrow,
in that bottle of booze.
To search for life's answers,
read the Good Book each day
God's words will uplift you,
put that alcohol away.
It will not be very simple,
but in the end it will pay,
You shall find your reward,
not in booze, but judgment day.

Oh Sandy this ryhmed so well and the flow was just perfect. What a excellent write of the reality of life for everyone. Expecially the one that suffers from addiction. You never cease to amaze me.
