Faith to Endure

Faith to Endure

Water poured
From pools of emotion
Floods my troubled heart
An echo rippling
Beyond walls of steel
Screaming to be heard,
As faults and flaws
Hinder intentions so bold
Meant to be pure and sweet,
Tainting actions of love
Into a wretched spawn
Pulsing with mistrust,
A snare I cannot escape
As I scramble helplessly
For freedom in faith
Please, do not lose faith
For I have not
And never will
So hold my love true
And do not forsake,
We shall endure
Never to break

Do you know what else I've noticed about your writing, hon'? You're like Rose in the fact that you don't use periods all that often. I never really noticed that until just now, heh'.

Another beautiful dedication to her, my dear. ♥ As you said, tragedy often brings out our best Muses.

    Stay strong.
