The Bliss
I looked at him,
he was just aloof,
though with love deep and strong,
that did not need proof,
he smiled feebly at me,
but I gathered,
all the feelings that had flowered,
they were bursting at seams,
as I could catch sharp beams,
of strong loving dreams,
we were matched,
and it was full blown,
and not just hatched,
we needed just a little,
time to be skittled,
in isolation and place,
in an embrace,
that lasted days,
wherein sometimes we laid,
in kiss,
that was nothing short of bliss.
Author notes
wherein sometimes we laid,
in kiss,
that was nothing short of bliss.
