He has brown skin and violet eyes,
talks tough when she’s around;
but every humble peek he takes
his heart goes skitter
like a pebble on a xylophone.
Down by the rusty railings,
under an apple moon,
he sees her moving slowly
to each luminous jazz note
sent from his window,
a sashay of zebra-toned daisy chains
for her, for her.

Nice to see my word bank turned into love poetry from afar. "A sashay for zebra-toned daisy chains" -- lovely line.
Thank you for entering my contest.
