Gazing angel upon the stair
Sigh sweetly in the breeze
Wind whispering through your hair
When the first Zaa ate human flesh
You and your kindred fled with a great and terrible cry
Man's fallen guardian howling at the moon
As the Huiea fled to the clouds above the Toes of the Sky
Smile for me dear Muirin
For not all have forgotten you
White blue eyes watch the clouds
No word spoken by the Menodow would ever be untrue
I know you long to fall
Floating high above the clouds
You despise the shrouds
Baring the land which you abandoned from your beautiful eyes
Reach down to me my precious
Bare your heart's discontent
be free
I will reintroduce you to the world
Every rock
Every river
Every tree
Look down out of the clouds sweet Muirin
Tell me where you are

Another piece of work that ties in nicely with "The Race of Servants."

A unique take with great imagery... some of the references are a bit obscure and it would help if you added explanations in AN or links to other pieces you've done that would expand the reader's understanding... Nicely done...

Wow this has a lot of visual in it- very unique imagery. What's up with the toes of the sky!? That's something hard to wrap my head around- but intriquing.
The ending is so sweet and comforting.
